I love lots of different kinds of art, but there is a special place in my heart for photography. The thing is, of course, there can always be manipulation by the photographer (cough cough ... like I frequently do, lol) ... but the true and pure image is a recording of a place and event. Therefore ... images like this one, and your explanation that it is as you discovered it ... are what give those of us with half an imagination a story to weave. It's not contrived ... it's not made up in the artists' head (like lots of mine) ... no ... it's the real deal. This fabulous old car which we both love so much ... really and truly has a story, bless it. And it's not just the car, Peter ... it's those amazing mountains as its backdrop ... glorious golden open plains ... and of course the beautiful long grasses that seem to be trying to tickle those gleaming chrome bumpers ... maybe hoping to wake the old sweetie up? I mean ... wow. As always, well done!!!!!!!

Fantastic find and capture, Peter!!!! i've always loved the Studebaker ... this particular model to me is art!!! LOVE the vast expense of country that he came to rest in. My imagination is in a spin, wondering what his story might be!!! Love this!!!! l/f and t and p

Aww, Lois. Even your comments are so artistic and descriptive. It is such a classic model it made me slam on the brakes and I just had to photograph it. The chrome on it was as good as new. Thank you my friend, love your comment
